The Duck and Cats

Effect: A rustic old barn along with two mischievous cats and a cute duck are all displayed in stand on the performer’s table. The cats are up to no good because they are always picking on the duck and making life miserable for him. The cats plan a mean trick to play on the duck so the duck hides in an old feedbag behind the barn. The cats look all around the barn but notice some suspicious movement in the bag. They jump into the bag but can’t seem to find anyone there so one cat decides to stay in the bag while the other cat hides behind the barn to surprise the duck if he happens to come that way. Quick as a wink the cat behind the barn and the duck hiding in the bag magically change places because when the barn is removed from the stand we see the duck right where the cat was placed only seconds before and both cats end up trapped inside the bag while the duck makes a fast get away! The barn was handled a bit suspiciously so the kids scream to see what was behind barn being held in the performer’s hands. After a bit of coaxing, the barn is turned around to show nothing but a surprising sign which reads in bold red letters ”NOTHING HERE!”
